First up this week, almost-but-not-quite Best Picture Oscar winner THE REVENANT (@ BLU). Sometimes Leo eats the bear, and, well…not this time. Also, what accent is Tom Hardy doing in this? Sounds like West Baltimore.

 

Then there’s a newly uncovered gem from Drafthouse, DANGEROUS MEN (@ BLU). Filmed over the course of many years by Iranian immigrant and dedicated dreamer John Rad, it took forever to complete and then was only screened a few times before disappearing from view. Now you too can have a look at what some people are calling the Holy Grail of Holy F**king S**t.
