First up, Charlie Kaufman, the genius who brought us ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and SYNECDOCHE, NY, and BEING JOHN MALKOVICH has a new heartbreaking mindblower. ANOMALISA (@ BLU) really defies description though. Just see it.

Then, the latest from the Coen Bros. HAIL, CAESAR! (@ BLU) is another one of their rambunctious comedies, this one a hilarious look at classic Hollywood, but like many of their films, it’s secretly concealing an earnest search for meaning in a seemingly orderless universe.

As for the rest, don’t forget to check out the following: the Heroes at the Criterion Collection have LE AMICHE (@ BLU), an early Antonioni film. A bunch of new anime lands with THE BOY AND THE BEAST (@ BLU), PSYCHO-PASS: THE MOVIE (@ BLU), and a deluxe edition of THE GIRL WHO LEAPT THROUGH TIME (@ BLU).
