It’s another Glorious New Release Tuesday!

Two amazing female-driven genre films top the list this week. First is Anna Biller’s incredible THE LOVE WITCH (@ BLU), an overtly feminist semi-horror comedy. Biller wrote, directed, edited, and art-designed the entire thing, and it’s one of the very best movies of 2017.

Then there’s master provocateur Paul Verhoeven’s latest ELLE (@ BLU), a controversial and thorny revenge tale about a woman who survives a sexual assault and proceeds to hunt down the perpetrator. Sort of. Isabelle Huppert stars in what might be the most intense, finely-tuned performance of her entire incredible career.
