New Releases for September 15!

It’s another glorious New Release Tuesday!

First up, the Heroes at the Criterion Collection have brought us another lovely selection, Polish master Krzysztof Kieślowski’s BLIND CHANCE. It presents three successive storylines, each involving a man running to catch a train, and how whether or not he catches it changes the course of his life. Filmed in 1981, it was suppressed by Polish authorities until 1987.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, there’s the magnificent FURIOUS 7! Vin Diesel and The Rock vs. Jason Statham! (RIP Paul Walker). And you thought cars couldn’t fly!

Videonomicon has released ultra-deep-cut trashterpiece SCIENCE CRAZED. For the kids there’s the latest live-action version of CINDERELLA (BLU) and childhood favorite SPACED INVADERS (@ BLU). And on the TV front we’ve got the first installments of AQUARIUS and EMPIRE, new seasons of SLEEPY HOLLOW and CSI, and LOST IN SPACE: THE COMPLETE ADVENTURES (@ BLU).
