Last week the great Hong Kong actor Ng Man-tat passed away due to liver cancer. Though he was a versatile actor with many great dramatic performances to his name (including his Hong Kong Film Awards nominated role in A Moment of Romance), he was best known for comedic roles. He co-starred with Stephen Chow dozens of times, starting in 1983 on the TV series The Legend of the Condor Heroes and finally in 2001’s Shaolin Soccer. He continued acting in movies up through this year.

Of Ng’s nearly 200 credits, here are the ones we have available for rent. Due to translation discrepancies and alternate titles it’s possible we missed some, so feel free to call if there’s something else you’re looking for.

Note the formats – most are on regular DVD, but a few require a region free player. Two of them we only have on laserdisc! We also noted a few that are dubbed rather than subtitled.
