Scarecrow Rent By Mail

We’ve been running a trial rental-by-mail program since November 2019. Participants can browse the collection online, select titles, and have them sent to their door with return mailers included.

In light of recent events, we’ve decided to invite more people to participate. If the program’s right for you, you’ll not only have access to thousands of great titles, but you’ll also be helping us on our path to a new and improved Scarecrow. In 2021, we hope to secure support for a more robust rental by mail program and the infrastructure to create original content centered on the Scarecrow collection.

Review the program overview and pricing here.

If after reviewing this you would you’d like to start renting by mail, we ask that you take a moment to read the full Rental By Mail Agreement here:

If you’d like to sign up, send an email to campaigns@scarecrow.com with the following information so that we can make sure your account is up-to-date:

  • Current address – this is where your rentals will be sent;
  • Current phone number – just in case we have any questions about your order; and
  • Formats you’re able to play – please answer “Yes” or “No” to each of the following:
    • DVD
    • Blu-Ray
    • PAL video format (can be played on a computer or multi-system player)
    • Region coded (can only played on a multi-system player)

If you don’t have a rental account with us, we’ll also need a credit card on file. We’ll send instructions for adding card information. Of course, we won’t charge anything until you’ve rented something.

Once we have all of this information, we will send a follow-up email with the link to the RBM site, and you can start renting.

If you have additional questions about the program, please don’t hesitate to ask via email at campaigns@scarecrow.com. And make sure to check your spam folder if you miss a reply from us.

Thanks for your interest and patronage! We wish you and yours wellness during this crazy time.

Stay safe and well out there!
